Term&Definition
Term Definition
Resilience Restoration
The capability of the sample or manufacture of a sealing rubber strip to be restored to its natural height after being compressed.
Natural Height The height of a sample or manufacturer of a sealing rubber strip without any load.
Operation Scope
The distance for which a sealing rubber strip can be compressed when the cabinet door is close or other components are assembled.

General Requirements
Engineering Requirements for Materials
The base material of a sealing rubber strip is the black ethylene propylene diene M-class (EPDM) rubber.
A sealing rubber strip is extruded through microwave vulcanization.
Requirements for the Cross Section
  A sealing rubber strip is a vulcanized strip with rubber on both sides. A sealing rubber strip have two types. The first type is the foam strip, the cross section of foam strip are HW01,HW02,HW03,HW04,HW05,HW06 and HW07 .The second type is close-grained  strip , the cross section of close-grained strip is HW08 ;

The following items shall be marked on the obvious parts of products or packages:
Name and logo of the manufacturer
Name, type, sign, and quantity (or quality) of the product
Number of this specification
Manufacturing date and inspection batch number or code
Packing
Sealing rubber strips shall be flat and twine around hard plates without distorted, and be put into packing cartons or bags by type and specification. The net weight of each carton or bag shall not be more than 30 kg.
Packing cartons shall be made of corrugated boxes, wooden cases, or fiberboard boxes enhanced by board strips. Packing cartons shall be configured with crate liners made of brown paper or thin plastic film. The liners shall be bound fixedly. The supplier and demander shall negotiate for special requirements.
Quality certificates shall be attached to packed products.
HW08 strip with joint should not bend and twine. It should be packaged by corrugated boxes or bracket, and be put regular.

Transport and Storage
Water and moisture prevention measures shall be taken during the transport and storage of strips. Keep the storage house well-ventilated and dry and protect strips from corrosion. Strips are allowed to be piled for a maximum of five tiers and stored for not more than one year.
